Nope definitely flushed him. Will get 5 weeks. It's the only time I've seen him show any aggression on the field in 2 years so something must have been said. Will be interesting if it comes out during the hearing.

Hopefully this gives him some impetus over the off season to channel where that aggression came from and put it into the defensive side of his game.
Hopefully they can argue it down to 3 or 4 games so the impact on next year is minor (if the VFL boys can get a couple of hard fought wins).
He will get his right whack though.

Otherwise that's a massive blow for next season too, assuming he'd be looking to break into our AFL sound from round 1, we effectively miss him for the first month if he gets 5 and we get knocked out of the VFL this weekend.

The catch 22 is we probably don't push deep without Sonsie, given he's been one of our best players at that level. It's a huge blow for if he cops it that big.

Nope, look at the pictures deflected up off the chest, even the angle of his fist is all wrong if you were going for a deliberate punch.
