Conway did well in the ruck. Neale looks as fit as I have ever seen him. That was a nice goal from 50m he kicked.

Could be quad looking at that? Rare to do a hamstring kicking. Fingers crossed whatever it is it's not serious. Missing 1 or 2 games at the start of the season we can manage. Quad confirmed for Guthrie - I watched him walk off the ground and it looked nowhere near as severe as some of the other quad injuries I’ve seen (like Essendon’s Ridley who looked like he’d been shot when he did his). A quick google shows a few players like de Goey who’ve missed 2-3 weeks with a quad strain, so hopefully Guthrie is at that end of the scale and only misses a week or two of the season proper.
Hard to tell at game. I am not match (watching) fit!
Was worried early as defence looked leaky.
I have noticed that running forwards and wings are definitely running back into d50 to clog up. Worked in second half of qtr.
Clarke been good. Max a bit patchy in back but hard to tell. Dempsey 2 goals assists with limited touches. Mitch good start to qtr with a bit of a fumble here and there
Hawkins and Jezza look up and about
It is very very very windy
