They're rolling with Caddy, Langford, Draper and Jones fwd. The match ups are there.Nervous about this game.
Thought our forward line could have been better, so it's a good sign to win with so many forwards in average form.
Is our backline oversized with Frosty in the side with our new inclusions of Battle and Barrass?
I trust in Sammy.
Go hawks!!
:Essendon are bottom of the barrell for me. Hate the cats but have to admire how consistent they are, whereas there's nothing to admire about the scum. Filthy club.Essendon have been irrelevant for 20 years, so I don't harbour the same hatred like I do for Geelong.
As a result, considering Carlton will grab all the headlines anyway, I CAN emotionally deal with a loss tonight.
However... I'm actually bloody confident the boys will get the job done. This is a different Hawthorn. A smarter, tougher and more drilled Hawthorn than we've seen in a long time.
I don't think Carlton was being complacent, they were just being Carlton. No chance of being complacent after last nights game. Not that I thought we would as I see us as a reliable and consistent team these days.
Also we haven’t lost at the MCG since April last year. The Swans game just before we started our good form run against the Dogs the following week.
The way they deliberately baited and went our captain in a pack like fashion last year is something I haven’t forgotten …….. we owe these pricks!
Mmm you obviously weren’t a teenager in the ‘80’sEssendon have been irrelevant for 20 years, so I don't harbour the same hatred like I do for Geelong.
