the podcast wasn't badLogue amounted to nothing more than a medium sized defender.
Zero chemistry with Mundy. Clark and Drisco are much more entertaining.the podcast wasn't bad
It's not Logue's fault we took him at pick 8.He was.
A pick 8 and can’t really do anything but run to spoil. Waste.
McGovern is a rookie pick.
Stewart was a pick 50.
Shai Bolton was in the same draft. Pick 19. Even at the time I couldn’t understand why Logue was so high. All reports just said he’s an athlete. So?
Logue amounted to nothing more than a medium sized defender. Could’ve been a decent medium forward such as Mayne, but wanted to be a defender.
Maybe, but Brisbane is also a lot closer to vic.Maybe if we had a coach players actually wanted to play under we could start luring those sort of players over like Fagan did.

probably put Bolton in the forward line tooLess media attention as well.
I think that is a big appeal of both Sydney and Queensland teams. If we get pickett, then our forward line is roughly this.
Treacy, Jackson, Amiss
Switta, Pickett, Dudley, Reid
Depth
Voss - very good depth. Riddle looks good as well.
Sturt - if he can get fit (I have my doubts), he is great depth player.
Banfield, JOM, Erasmus, Frederick etc
Ok, we are playing 8 forwards.probably put Bolton in the forward line too
Why did you bring it up then? You were the number one cheerleader for getting him in , I was one of the main ones arguing ti keep drafting
Not much use us talking about it really
He’s a must have.
Drafting.. for what reason?
Why did you bring it up then?
Liked the look of quite a few of the rookies playing at the moment
Cox needs to go. So disinterested and looks nervous. We always talk about him intercepting when we have Pearce playing but it just doesn't seem to happen. Can we offload him to one of the SA clubs and pursue Leek Aleer? Not getting a look in at GWS unless injury strikes. Out of contract at season's end and has talent to burn!
If Cox wants a trade it would most likely be to one of the SA clubs so Id rather trade him and get picks that we then use to help get Picket. Id be happy with a trade of Cox (picks from a SA club) and our first pick for Picket currently. We desperately need Picket and we (in my opinion) dont need Cox at his current level of performance anyway. We don’t need another KPD. Draper played that role last year and was fine in his second season. We’re too tall as a backline.
And Leek Aleer isn’t going from being depth at GWS to depth at Freo. If he becomes best 22, we either stay a ridiculously tall backline or Draper requests a trade 2026 or 2027. It isn’t happening.
I'd look like a first ruck against Bailey WilliamsLuke Jackson is starting to look more and more like a first ruck by the week.....![]()
I notice that Zac the son of the coach is playing colts for Subiaco this year. Whatever happens with JL, let’s not burn a bridge with him - his son might turn out to be a jet.
Does seem that way. Especially watching the footage of the boys entering the rooms after the game.Longmuir is right not to channel Goodwin on this but Cox has had a lot going on personally. Maybe let him work into his season a bit.
Arrr, the 1885 team .The list is in as good a shape as I can remember (which basically includes these guys)

We've got talent across all lines and it's where we're at ....we can all play would've and could've in retrospect.
Logue as a draftee had athleticism off the charts and might have ended up as Patty Cripps type but I'm OK with that dice roll.
Focusing on the now - Shai just has something, in what was a game not near his best he still demanded a lot of attention and he's the type of guy that in a finals series can just win it. Glad he's in purple.
Plenty to like, list management here becomes a fine tuning event. Don't need to push all the chips into the middle, don't need to sell the world for Kosi or Warner .....have the feeling Melbourne will be knocking on our door season's end looking for picks to convince their fanbase that the rebuild is starting.
Warner - he is either with us or Sydney ....West Coast is going to be a train wreck by season's end.
Our list changes will almost select themselves over next couple of seasons - Sonny, Aish, & Fyfe all on final year. Erasmus probably shopped or walks (also final year).
Next year Banfield and Brodie are out of contract.
I like your thinking.
Let's go a step further and find 5 or 6 really good colts players, emancipate them and have Pav adopt them - father & son our way to the top before the AFL outlaws this loophole.
Doesn’t he have a team to coachApparently Sam Mitchell was here yesterday, talking to Oscar Allen, also interested in Harley.
Might have to check if he spoke to any Freo players?
