Trade out the interceptor Lever... bring in Silvagni (great one on one defender) as a free-agent. Save some dollars in the cap. And receive a half-decent draft pick to boot.

He's not happy playing the role designated for him. That's why he's not flying.

Com'on Melbourne, he's one of our new breed. Do what needs to be done to sort out his issue.

I thought Salem might work in the Midfield in-under... but I saw on the weekend he's such a liability when he has to chase the opposition player running the footy.

There's slow, and then there's treakle slow.

Lever is the architect of down the line slow ball movement.
He is a huge part of our in-ability to score... with the trash plays he serves up.

If he was so great at the smart footy, he would have changed his methods well before now.

If I could somehow get a new refreshed Whelan or Jetta back into this team, I would pay really well to do it.
 
Has anyone watched a lot of vfl this season?
I know their from Essendon and I know ones only 19 so they won’t get rid of him any time soon but how’s Kayla Gerreyn (big boy 200cm) and Liam McMahon gone so far? with Caddy, Wright and now Archer May.

How’s Arthur Jones going?

This is a great point. His all-encompassing conservatism has just killed us.

I’m now at the point where I would be happy to pay 500k towards Oliver’s contract until 2030 just to **** him off.

If we can snare Geelongs 2026 first rounder somehow in the process it would be a win. Oliver takes a pay haircut to get it over the line.

By the time that 2026 first rounder starts coming good and needs a payrise, hopefully we have that 500k off the books.
