It feels like the never ending story, we will lose Fyfe, Walters and Aish from the squad next year and will role out with the least experienced team again next year.Cats, pies, lions & Dogs
so much more experience on those lists.
Playing them away in a elimination would get ugly
We are to young and need more experience.
Absolutely 100 percent.Ed Allan is who we should be chasing this off season. I’d love Drizz to play that inside tagging role that JOM plays and put Allan out on the wing

Never wait…. If his keen, which we have no idea whether he is, you get it done. We’d need to pry him out before Pendles and Sidebottom retire. How much would you give up for him?
Was pick 19, but has not shown that much so surely the most you would need to give up is a 2nd round pick hopefully only a 3rd although we would need that pick to get McVee if we get him.
I think he would provide put very good pressure on our outside mids, and be fringe best 22.
I would be happy to wait until 2026 when he is out of contract.
Other players we should look at
Starecevich as a free agent would be very handy, especially as you don't need to give up picks.
McVee is great at rebounding the ball, and solid defensively.
---Not sure how you fit them in your best 22. Both are keen to play higher up the ground, so you could get them to play the winger role.
Ah Chee - I really love the role he is doing for Brisbane. Starts at the forward flank, works back defensively. Averages 1 to 1.5 goals per game the last 2 years.

That makes no sense since they have basically not played this year at all, and hence have had no effect on our average age.It feels like the never ending story, we will lose Fyfe, Walters and Aish from the squad next year and will role out with the least experienced team again next year.
If we sign a ready made HB is Luke Ryan's spot at risk next year? Turns 30 before round 1 2026 and has lost a yard of pace.
NoHe has played with broken ribs all years, but yes he looks a slower.
Starcevich is 1.87m, McVee is 1.85m, Chapman 1.93m and interestingly Luke Ryan is only 1.86m's. He plays a lot taller.
I still think he is best 22, but this would put him under pressure.
To state the painfully obvious, we're always going to be younger in November (after the draft) than in August when the season ends. That makes no sense since they have basically not played this year at all, and hence have had no effect on our average age.
If by some miracle, we got Bobby Hill, what's your forwardline next year? Is it a case of moving Reid to the midfield more to make it all work? Do we revert to two tall forwards and Darcy/Jackson?
It would create an absolutely fascinating selection choice if we pulled it off
So pushing Freddy out? Sturt is depth at this point not in consideration. Im also pretty sure Ah Chee is going nowhere. We wouldn't get both him and Hill regardlessHow much of a risk is Hill considering all the rumours?
How much would you give up for him?
Do we also get Ah Chee? Is Sturt fit?
--Bolton and Reid each play 50 percent midfield time.
If we get Ah Chee, then Sturt is pushed out.
Forward Line
Bolton/Reid Treacy Ah Chee or Sturt
Switta Amiss Hill
One of Jackson or Voss
Seems settled over there and on the fringes of a challenging teamEd Allan is who we should be chasing this off season. I’d love Drizz to play that inside tagging role that JOM plays and put Allan out on the wing
