I get so ****ing angry when people talk of relocating Norf. They gave them the chance to do so three times in their history and they refused every time.

In my opinion, **** 'em. Cut off their equalisation funding that is between 1.5-3 million p.a. on average more than ours. If they can't stand on their own two feet they fold. SO sick of Norf and StKilda being perennial charity cases and still whining they are hard done by. They are not the ones forking out a couple of million a year to do the AFL's job and give local kids a chance to make it into the big time.

Greed has ruined this competition and there ain’t enough talent to go around 18 clubs and will be worse once another side enters. So my fixes would be

• merge Roos/ saints once Tasmania comes on board
• straight out 1st round draft uncompromised .
• why can’t the afl work out of fantasy points average what a player is worth and that would save clubs from them selves over paying with picks .
• the afl to fund northern academy’s run by clubs to get rid of that argument.
• break the league into 2 9 teams one from each state and break vic teams in half and play each other twice then a rival round x2 and thats 20 rounds then play finals and winner from each side play off . Then that creates a much fair draw and removes Melbourne teams not travelling

These sides are just as bad as Fitzroy were with tons better resources and training methods.

Zero excuse for Essendon/Eagles to be this shit for so long they are both massive clubs in their respective state.

We have two players nominated out of the 65; Grundy & Heeney.

Somewhat dispiriting to have just the two, but unless you went full left field and thought Jordon or Wicks might be options, it strikes me as fair enough.

Heeney likely, Grundy possible?
