It may have been missed by some of you Poindexters bed wetting over HR9, but our last game of this season is against the Swans, who cheated their way to a flag against us 20yrs ago.

Petty it may be, but that’s how we roll, and I feel it needs to be stated that we have not forgotten that SAMPI WAS HELD!

Feel free to create your own signs/banners and bring them along to the game - or not.

Open to suggestions about time of reveal…

Have at it, campaigners

Tbf, Cox blatantly pushed Sydney's ruck in the back leading up to his mark beforehand.

Leo Barry played on!

Wel, we made it folks. Last game of the year, minor premiers vs dead last. 2 Senior coaching jobs up for grabs. No Harley. No Jake. McGovern ded. Sheed ded. Ryan gawn. Oscar.. in intense negotiations with neither us or Brisbane willing to budge. Rest assured though someone has to blink and he'll be on a list somewhere next year. Don Pyke poised to really lean in on Coxsy and Chad Warner both, with rumours a former club great about to sign as football director. You didn't hear it from me [6PR?] but Peter Sumich rumoured to be looking to get back into football. It's all falling into place. Now if you will excuse me I have drawn a bath, brb to finish off.

Edit: Never mind I guess these match previews are more of a free for all than a volunteer and sign up kind of thing. Anyway I'm changing my prediction to WIN

I remember in the last several minutes I could barely watch and was agonising pathetically in and out of the room. And this was in a Swans house, I doubt any Eagles fan would have been more Swans-enthused than I was then and yet it was traumatic (thankfully 2006).

most haunting moment to me?

that last score:
it nearly ricocheted off Nicoski’s leg
liked to imagine that if Phil Matera had’ve been out there and in the vicinity he would have pounced on that somehow

I would like a live performance of the Big Coast Energy ad from Yeo at three quarter time. He has to do it in the centre square and he's not allowed to leave until it's finished, even as the players and umpire are awkwardly standing around next to him waiting to do the bounce.

Gee whizz, what another season to forget.
Maybe we'll get a final good performance today.
Curious to see how Grego fares at AFL level.
The coach must be relieved to finally arrive at this end point, one last presser!
