It would be worth a gamble for any team who believe they can win a premiership in the next three years. We are certainly in that window.
I agree. Even if you front load a 4 or even 5 year deal, and anticipating a drop off when he turns 33.

Would be worth it for me to have a genuine gamebreaker join the midfield during our push.

And let's face it, if this trade period is anything to go by, and with Tassie coming in, the top 8 isn't changing much anytime soon. If anything the divide is going to get more extreme

“Clubs are looking at Bobby Hill now, non-Victorian clubs – and I’m not talking about West Coast or Fremantle here either – and wondering if they can pry him out of Collingwood,” Morris told Channel 9.

Could see him slotting in to our forward mix quietly

Nah, THIS is a bloke who I'd question whether he's a good cultural fit.

I understand drugs being an issue and something that can be overcome - it's hard to track all of things that have been surrounding Bobby

Have not heard of drugs.

Hasn't he and his partner split, with his partner and child moving back to WA - which would make sense with the appeal of possibly going to one of those two clubs.

Can't say I've followed it all too closely so perhaps I'm out of the loop.

Literally says not those two clubs

Not much on Gettable about us.

Ah Chee was linked. Twomey thinks it’s quite likely he leaves the Lions. Beveridge suggested a late first/early second to get it done.

Bailey talked about but not linked to us. Twomey linked to Essendon instead (he is a massive Bombers fan fwiw. There would be virtually no reason for him to go there).

Loves a link to the Power though!

Said Brodie and Wehr are locks. Couple of big fish there.
Agree ....I don't understand the midfield mix if they're chasing Brodie ....seems too much like Drew, and can they actually play both in the midfield ....would appear to slow down Ports midfield, strange

Port over the last few years have traded in too many average players (insert list cloggers)

All 3 clubs employ the Stars and Scrubs strategy of list building (at least St Kilda is heading that way this year), and then wonder why they have such little depth. So Chris would fit in at all 3.
Spot on ....a failed strategy in today's footy

It's why the Western Bulldogs can't dominate ....they keep turning over their bottom 6-8 players, hoping to find a diamond
The media get fooled, because their upper echelon of players are elite
