Spare a thought for that umpire who paid the Rayner frees and who will spend the remainder of his days in an Eddie McGuire and Jeff Kennett run VFL prison under Marvel Stadium.

You will be remembered.
He is in trouble 💀. Ralphy will make sure of it.

In order of issue…

Injuries stack up at some stage. Imagine Geelong with the number of outs we have to beat 23 players. We are covering with a lot of young players.

Midfield getting drubbed. So really it becomes difficult to judge the rest of the ground.

KPFs of Gallop third gamer, Morris second season and old man Day is difficult to see working but no other options. Charlie not playing well compounds it.

I thought the backline was good tonight given the ball that was coming into our D50. Gardiner did an excellent job.

A real trauma inducing performance there brining back the memories of those prelims and even H&A games we had against the Cats a few years back when they would walk it out of the centre bounce.

Disappointed cause had high hopes coming into this game, but watching some of our bottom 6 play tonight, we are probably stretched too thin this season on the injury front, but we go again next week!

I know it was a wild minute or so of play but how often did the commentators bring up the double goal afterwards. Felt like they never shut up about it even when it had nothing to do with the play

On Fox they doubled down at halftime with ‘I hope Geelong win’. Never heard anything like it.

On Fox/Kayo, they had Whatley, Huddo, Mooney and Hawkins all cheering on the team they support. Along with Lyon and Dunstall who defended Geelong at every opportunity. Not to mention that inane and unhinged rant by Jon Ralph.

The double goal will mask how truly poor the umpiring was tonight. Plenty of incorrect throws and holding the ball decisions (both ways).

I think the umps spooked themselves and then basically just stopped paying a lot of frees for both teams.

I'm thinking we have a lot of sore and sorry players.....it's been a tough one and the toll is showing so this year might have to be written off ....

...have a good rest then back into it for next year.

When fit there is no team better than our boys, simples.

..and next week this could quite well look a very silly post.

Silly pushes in the side paid in the back then ignored in the next contest. Marking interference, holding the ball, incorrect disposal all so annoyjngly inconsistent. Wasn’t good

It would be great to have another call team option to chose from that isn't so biased. Imagine if Fox put an all Adelaide call team in for a game that is broadcast back into Victoria...

We looked really lethargic from the get go tonight didn't we.

Just hoping we can bounce back hard like we have from similar performances this year.

Dare I say we had some guys who looked like they've clocked out.

Bit like how we used to play post bye up until last year

Our pressure rating was higher than theirs for the first quarter but the difference was we were fumbling and turning it over

Andrew Dillon is already preparing the leak to Ralphy about the rigorous umpire review process and the likelihood that the ump is banished to Siberia.

Players are out on their feet. Slow to react, show to move. Just got out played all round by a much hungrier team.

Two grand finals in a row and top four the year after winning is a massive effort and I've enjoyed the ride. 👏👏

We aren't making the granny this year.

Will be going to the game next week, but will not be upset if we lose. They could use the extra weeks rest.

We got some issues to work through. Very hard to score a winning score without an effective forward line.

It’s hard because we didn’t really have any good supply all night and limited opportunities. It’s not good but it’s still functional if the mids can win their contest
