There's more than that one. Coincidentally created same day
Yep, hence the sharing of Mike's post to help keep a few of those things on track

It has just been brought to my attention that from next year 3 game memberships will be moving to Priority 3.
So good news going forward but no help for this year

So we could end up with a crowd of part time theatre goers at the GF instead of passionate fans.

Another fail by the membership dept at the footy club.

Morning all!

Curious whether we think Cats will play on Friday night or Sat twilight/night next weekend?

I am hoping the Sat as I have friends who I want to go with, but sounds more likely Friday night.

Thanks.

That's the corporates and it already happens

nope..

i watched them all live andenjoyed them thoroughly... sometines even been at work... but not the same clearly

GO Catters

It's the best or worst watching it live. My wife hates it when I say the 2007 GF was one of the best days of my life (conversely, 2008 was gut-wrenching).

One day you're going to have to tell Jimmy, Conan, or whoever that there are more important things to life and get yourself back here for that last weekend in September.

I was referring to the members allocation

Except that the changes to the membership allocation from next year is going to make it harder for casual fans with 3 game memberships to get tickets in the ballot compared with those who buy the 11 or 17 game memberships

Er, this happens every year. Not just AFL, but NRL, Tennis, F1, etc etc etc

All these a$$...s through "connections" or corporate hookups flood the events, many dont even watch the event, they just get sh*tfaced, make fools of themselves, but love to brag on Insta and even LI these days that "they were there". it's quite sad, but the way the world works.

Hate to be one of those people, but does anyone have a spare membership barcode for the preliminary?

Long-time member here who would love to take his mate along to the game.

We are happy to pay for the barcode.

Cheers in advance.

Pretty sure you can buy multiple tickets with the one barcode

They might limit it to 4 per barcode but last year it was 8 from memory.
Our last prelim final against a fellow Vic side was Richmond in 2019 & it was a limit of one ticket per barcode

If the match was against Adelaide, then most likely could buy multiple per barcode, but being two Vic sides I wouldn't be surprised if it was one ticket per barcode - it'll be 90k plus crowd

90k plus crowd last year and I bought 4 on 1 barcode.

Against an interstate side though - it's also why we could buy 10 on one barcode last week

It'll be interesting to see what decision the AFL makes regarding ticket allowances
