So has it been confirmed 100% that Pendlebury was picked for the game in the full knowledge that he had an iffy calf injury???

Chopping the arms is when someone is marking the ball - Elliot wasn't because the ball was already successfully spoiled. The arm contact was secondary

Play on was the right call

Even if you disagree, it was wasnt an outrageous non call - ok to question it, but the commentator reactions were disgustingly unprofessional.

A big problem is nobody actually knows the rule, a free gets paid absolutely every time somebody attempts to spoil with their back turned. So maybe the rule should be a little clearer.

"Feel pretty confident we'll 'Sydney in 2022' the Lions next week"

Pretty confident indeed. I get being confident of a win, but an 80 point thrashing?

Hope the Lions bottle that Cats arrogance and use their Uno reverse card.

They should be confident in that. Qualifying Final speaks a lot and Cats have won all their finals by big margins.

I feel it won't be close

Well we’ve handled them easily recently apart from 2 weeks ago. That’s the outlier. What other tricks does Scott have? We will be ready for the same rot of two weeks ago next week.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems the QF loser often beats the winner in the GF more often than not. 03, 05, 06, 15 etc.

This year we've seen many big reversals of results in meetings.

That isnt true. Also he wasnt back to the ball. Almost side on.
The excuses after the bullshit 50m penalties is a joke.

Other weird patterns:
  • 9 out of 10 of the last prelims Stevic umpired, the team who won that match lost the Grand Final.
  • Interstate teams win the flag every 6 years. Last time they won was Brisbane last year.

Also the ball went the opposite way to logic if mason cox touched it last the goal prior.
