Rowbottom possibly needs to up his running power a little. I remember him commenting as much about three years ago, and I dare say he has since then. But maybe he needs to take it to another level.

His best is pretty good but he all-too-often only gives us a half of footy.
His ToG is often quite low.

All of this is just staged to create drama for the final hour.

Wouldn't surprise if they (AFL) had a plan around the sequence of events to create max drama, and when they can go through
I am shocked I tell you.

We've got Rowbottom and Roberts as two good players whom appear down on confidence or down on belief in terms of the coaching staff and whom, if we manage to get them back up and going, could be really valuable players somewhere in the best 23.

I was okay with him being added for the Curnow deal not as a independent deal.
It doesn't change his value though, his worth was an F3 inside or outside the Curnow deal.

From a 5 year deal to traded for a pick 50 odd in the space of 18 months geez how the tables can turn, all the best to him.

Pick in return should help with academy bid leverage at least
He's certainly worth a lot more than we're offloading him for, but not quite worth the $$$ we signed him to for 5 years, so we're reaping what was sewn.

I mean if it all goes to Carlton at the end of the day does it really matter?

Serong deal done according to The Age, although I haven't seen anything on Twitter yet.

The Swans have sent Hawthorn a 2026 third-round pick for Serong and a 2026 fourth-rounder

[PLAYERCARD]Will Hayward[/PLAYERCARD] any chance of staying? Or definitely tied to Curnow trade?

Sydney and Hawthorn have come to terms on a deal for Jai Serong, who has struggled for senior opportunities at the Hawks.

So we won’t have a F1 or F3 …. Let’s hope 2026 isn’t the world best draft…

Or we come top 4

The pessimist in me wonders if we're getting Florent and Serong done now because Curnow is going to be all too hard and fall apart.
