You'd think the NSW & QLD teams take up 4 spots in the 8
Geelong will take another
Leaves 3 spots, and I think we're in with a shout vs Hawthorn/Fremantle/Collingwood/Dogs/Adelaide

The natural improvement in the young guys should do the heavy lifting over TDK/Sos/Flanders/Ryan

With a change of work circumstances my aim is to get to training over pre season on a fairly regular basis when I'm not traveling. Time for more enjoyment than being stuck on my laptop all day. Lot's more work just from my phone.

A different set of eyes. I'm more in the Dan Sultan camp of the "vibe" rather than tactics but feel like I've been more right than wrong over the past few years. I'll add my reports to the list to give a different view for those that can't get there.

I think the lack of talent in the draft really hurt player movment this year. Clubs didn't want picks for good players this year at all unless there were outside circumstances to move that player on.

I don't rate GWS tbh, pretty unconvincing this year and they've lost kelly for the whole season, hogans another year older, darcy jones out for the season with an ACL. Callaghan and Cadman obvs ones to watch for bigger breakouts but still

I tell you what apart from the new recruits, Windhager, Wilkie and Nas better be on their A-game this season. We've given them substantial support now from a personnel point of view as well the contract situation. Windhager especially, needs to up his offensive output and can't go missing if he's not tagging. 5th season now.

You may be right but we don't know the inner dynamics of each player. He doesn't do a lot of media but when he does he speaks well. He apparently does a lot of work with the younger players at training.

Perhaps Sinclair or a younger Windhager are the better choices? Windhager was involved in pitching the club to Flanders, so he is already stepping up.

Either way we need onfield leadership and it would be good to have a voice/direction through the midfield with the other mids being inexperienced.
