Things are starting to take proper shape with only 3 teams remaining to go on their BYE week. 10 of the 20 selected in this weeks TOTY are yet to have the BYE, meaning that half of the side is made up of 3 teams. The ladder leading Gumbies also lead the selections in Round 10 with 4 members selected, namely StFly (LBP) 6th selection, Falconista (RHB) 2nd selections, beez (C) first selection and GWS Goose (ROV) (vc) 6th selection. Equal on 4 selections this week is the Roys with Phar Ace (RW) 4th selection, HinkleysHeroes (LHF) 4th straight selection, Mooch (FF) 6th selection and DERRINALPHIL (RUC) (c) 4th straight selection, 3rd straight as captain. Following behind those two teams is the Furies with 3 members present, including Bastyy (RBP) 8th straight selection, Chronz (CHB) 5th selection and Orange crush (LW) 4th selection. The third of the BYE-less teams is the Bears with both MWPP (LHB) 5th selection and Cap (RR) 6th selection. Also with 2 is the Swamprats with MrsEddieBetts (RFP) 5th selection and sataris (INT1) 2nd straight selection. The final five selections go to the Dragons' Drizzy (RHF) 8th straight selection, the Hawks' Giant Strides (LFP) 9th selection, the Demons' Headless (INT2) maiden selection, the Old Boys' Mrs Turbo (CHF) 2nd selection and finally the Royals' Uncle_Leo (FB) 5th straight selection, despite not playing a game since Round 8! Ten weeks down, 6 to go. There are only three teams remaining that have not had the BYE yet, meaning we are getting towards the pointy end of the season. The Gumbies are still running hot and have somehow already managed to secure a finals spot! They also managed to have 4 members in the Team of the Week for Round 10, with Cactus_ (FB) joining midfield trio of beez (c), GWS Goose (ROV) (vc) and Supercheapgiants (RR). The Furies were another team with 4 representatives this week, with Chronz (CHB) and rfctigerarmy (INT2) joining midfield duo Orange crush (LW) and TRUMAN#1 (RUC) in his milestone game. The Warriors were next best with 3 players selected, all of them in the front half of the ground. Smoooothy (LHF), zackah (LFP) and Freofalcon (RFP) represented the Orange and Charcoal. The Swamprats managed to pull off nearly the complete opposite this week, with 3 defenders selected including Ant Bear (LBP), ant555 (LHB) and spookism (RHB). The remaining 6 players this week were from 6 different teams with Kilroy (CHF) from the Bombers, PhenomenalV1 (FF) from the Dragons, Red mist (RBP) from the Hawks, Tandy (RHF) from the Bears, Jatz (INT1) from the Demons and Fleabane (RW) from the Old Boys. The Roys and Wonders had 0 selections and the Royals had the BYE.

Just some interesting remarks after 10 rounds that I thought I would share with the lovely people of the SFA.

1. TOTW selections by team (CIW - 25, ESH - 22, FUR - 20, SCS - 17, LVB - 16, MBD - 15, GUM - 15, OOB - 14, BOM - 14, GCR - 13, WON - 10, DRA - 10, ROY - 9) Furies and Gumbies and the big surprises here. The Furies with the third most selections whilst sitting second last, and the Gumbies an outstanding 9-1 yet only 15 selections.

2. Itsmyshow (CHF) is the only player to be selected to 4 TOTW's so far (Rd 1, 2, 5 and 7) yet is still not leading his position over all. (IMS - 536, Mrs Turbo - 539)

3. The most rotated position in the TOTW is split between INT1, LHF and RHB, each position having 9 different players across the 10 rounds. Conversely, the least amount of players in one position is even between CHF and RR with just 6 players each.

4. The TOTW captaincy (highest individual score for the round) has been shared over just 5 positions on the field. RUC x 5, ROV x 2, RR x 1, LW x 1 and C x 1.

5. StFly (LBP), Uncle_Leo (FB), Falconista (RHB) and Cap (RR) all lead their respective positions in the TOTY despite not having made a single TOTW. Of these four, three of them are yet to have their BYE. Uncle_Leo is still in the FB position in the TOTY despite not playing the last two games.

6. Giant Strides (LFP) has been named in the rolling TOTW an amazing 9 times out of a possible 10. He missed out in Round 5 before jumping back in for Round 6 and holding strong since then.

7. Only two players are close to GS, with Bastyy (RBP) and Drizzy (RHF) each selected to their respective positions in 8 out of the 10 TOTY's.

8. The Furies, thanks largely to Bastyy, Chronz (CHB), omgfridge (RHB) and Orange crush (LW) lead the teams for the most selections in the TOTY with 31 total. The rest of the list is as follows: CIW - 26, GUM - 23, ROY - 20, OOB - 17, ESH - 17, GCR - 17, DRA - 15, LVB - 12, MBD - 8, SCS - 8, WON - 3, BOM - 3. Again, the Furies the big standout, dominating in a few positions but not winning many games of qootball. At the other end, the Bombers are playing musical chairs with their team selections with only KohPhi (FB), TubbsFarquhar (CHB) and WAbulldog (ROV) the only players to have played all 9 games in the same position. As for the Wonders, they are just shit. They only have two players currently in the top 3 for a position with Oisin_the_Goat (RBP) in 3rd and dogs105 (RUC) in 2nd.

9. Tigerturbulance and Mrs Turbo are both advocates of the minimum 15 posts per week stipulation to make All-SFA, and if that rule were to be in effect, of the 20 positions on the field, only 7 of the current TOTY would be eligible (MWPP - LHB, Falconista - RHB, beez - C, Mrs Turbo - CHF, GWS Goose - ROV, Cap - RR and Headless - INT2).

10. The highest scoring position on the field is the RUC (9,131 DT) compared to the lowest scoring which is LFP (2,757 DT).

11. The left hand side of the field (LBP, LHB, LW, LHF and LFP) has scored a total of 27,351 DT points compared to the right had side of the field (RBP, RHB, RW, RHF and RFP) which has only scored a total of 26,947 DT points. A difference of only 1.5%

12. Of the 20 positions on the field, amazingly 15 of them have had someone score 100+ in a game. The positions that haven't are LBP (high 87), FB (75), LHB (90), LFP (93) and RFP (87).

13. The average DT score across all positions so far this season is 49.66DT

14. The highest scoring player in a single position is DERRINALPHIL (RUC) with 894 DT.

15. The lowest scoring player in a single position is spinynorman (LFP) with -3 DT.

16. The highest scoring player in a single position by average is RonnieRaven (RW) with 110.0 DT

The Wonders absolutely cooked this week in the TOTW with Coopers (CHB) in the backline, okeydoke7 (CHF) and croweater 41 (LFP) in the forward line, JT_the_Man (INT2) on the bench and dogs105 (RUC) joining the captain of this side AnUltimateRessie (RW) this week. The Furies also were well represented this week with Orange crush (LW) (vc), Frothies Mcveigh (LHF), SplintWhisky (RFP) and Greenery (RR) all making this weeks team. The Royals with krakouers (RHB) and Ulahoopski (C), the Gumbies with NSWCROW (RBP) and bone2468 (INT1) and the Dragons with serial_thrilla (FB) and Hatchy1992 (ROV), all had multiple representatives. The final four spots were taken up by HitTheNailOnTheHead (LBP), MWPP (LHB), Firestarter (RHF) and Yakker (FF) representing the Old Boys, Bears, Swamprats and Demons respectively. The Warriors, Bombers and Hawks were all shit this week and the Roys had the BYE.
