We make the grand final every year we are off Broadway in SA so may as well keep that up

Thought occurred to me this morning that other clubs will be reluctant to play us twice. As much as the AFL might like to give us double ups against Geelong and Collingwood, their administration would fight pretty hard against it. I can see us doubling up against teams with less influence like Freo, Adelaide and GWS. Maybe?

Round 14 lions v tigers in Hobart , Richmond replacing north in playing one game next two seasons at Ninja stadium in Hobart

The ironic thing is, Brisbane is one of the highest drawing teams in terms of tv audiences. You figured 7 would want more of that given our games smash tv ratings records. Then again, every lions game is on 7 in QLD, so I can understand why they would spread our games out given Queenslanders will always be given access to our games.

The whole thing is in on the AFL website.

Bye in week 2.

Double ups are Sydney, Suns, Pies, Carlton, Geelong and Bombers.

Hawthorn are coming to the Gabba.

One trip to Perth, one trip to SA (Gather Round only).

The aforementioned trip to Tassie.

****ing lmao, the Sunday night pre-public holiday
QClash was very successful the last two years, now the suns are competitive too, so the AFL does the natural thing and… scraps it

Only 2 MCG games as well, down on the last few years. That’s our reward for back to back, AFL don’t want a non vic team to win again clearly.

Time someone from the club pulls up the agreement from the merger that they signed with the AFL. It mandates 7+ games at the MCG every year. How’s that working out?

On the plus side our double ups are suspiciously easy looking…

Before a lot of people melt, remember that Brisbane usually requests more saturday games because it's not competing with the broncos. Giving us clear airway in Brisbane has always been the biggest priority of the club

It's an easy fixture no? Easiest I could imagine.

I thought it was 6 games in Melbourne? Not MCG

I agree, I think top 4 is staring us in the face with this fixture. I’ll take all the shitty time slots during the season if it means we get to 3-peat.

this would have to be the worst fixture ive ever seen, why on earth would you take away the qclash public holiday it was a massive success

11.35am vs st Kilda sounds exciting cant wait

If Thursday and Friday night games are considered the prime time games... I'd love to know how the back to back premiers have only received 3 Thu/Fri games in the first 16 rounds.... bit odd. Lowest amount amongst any of the top 10 teams from last year...
