3.08 is roughly the average of a 20m sprint at a combine
8.5 is roughly the average result for the agility test

That includes all players testing at a combine.

So Lindsay is about average in the 20m sprint and below average in the agility test.

From Cal last night

while the Hawks could also shuffle back the order and have had talks with the Giants about a potential flick back for a future second-round pick if GWS was desperate to shift up the board and be able to choose one of Grlj, Pickett or Oskar Taylor.

Hopefully the Hawks get their guy and pick @ 10 and GWS are still desperate to get ahead of us and trade a F2 to move up 1 spot with us. They have history of doing this. In 2023, they moved up one spot for Leake (Saints took Wilson).

Then on the second night with the 1st pick, with luck we do the same and walk away with 2 F2s.

Agree. Something we should look at if we are happy enough getting any of Schubert/Lindsay/Thredgold/OT.
Dogs R2 selection this year another option if they want to move up to get Lindsay or OT and we are happy to get any one from a group of three or four.

Yep. He thinks it may be a stronger crop than this years one. So I doubt Crows trade the F1.

although i remember everyone saying Ade wouldnt trade anything last year as they were all over Sharp....

The one thing I do LOVE about Lindsay is his Sheezel-like ability to take possession, sum up options quickly then distribute.

He can get away with being on the slower side because of his quick thinking and elite vision.

I hope so. Fast, clean back flankers like Hardeman, Goater, Kerch and Sheeze are so fun to watch. Lindsay + Hardeman + Goater running through HBF and some wing will be entertaining for the next decade.

Regarding Lindsay’s average combine results.
From his highlights it looks like he has a step when he needs it. Plus he looks the type that can break an arm tackle.

How is he overhead and can he defend?

They don't have a football in their hand during the combine. Lindsays speed might be better with Football in hand - never know.

I guess he could pass it over zoom and the jumper comes out of the screen on the other side.

Lindsay looks a good shout should everything go as planned prior but I reckon no matter the slider should one transpire, that would be our guy. Not a bad spot to sit in at all.

Yep. There could only be 5 picks in Round 2. NM (25), Dogs, Dees, Tigers, Cats.
Other teams could have bids to match like GC, WCE, Blues, *, Swans and Pies.

Have heard a little rumour that Melbourne might have been throwing up some furphy's with their first round interest in Jacob Farrow and that they are keen on getting Latrelle Pickett to link up with his cousin Kozzie.

In the event Melbourne don't take Farrow, Essendon will take him with their next pick which would mean Dovaston would fall to us as the Hawks are seemingly set on Sam Grlj.

The CodeSports guys think * might actually take Dovaston and X Taylor at their first two picks.
So many scenarios could play out. Demons might even take Pickett as you say.
