Think he did the knee end of 2023 so he played some footy end of 2024. Physically he should have been fine for 2025, but being positive he missed an important year of footy so might have some further upside with development, maybe skill development as much as physical?

With having next to no actual medical knowledge (so I’m well qualified for BF then on the subject ,you would think? doing his ACL at such early stage (before his body’s fully developed) that it hopefully ,,means it may/have a better chance to heal back to original capacity?

Fwiw re the speed doubters, this article lists that Sweid ran a 6:25 2km at the combine. So if his athletic gifts were high high level (which for the record Rookie Me doesn't say they are elite, just above average), they'd probably show up at the combine.

2km means **** all for speed. What matters is how quickly he covers 20-50m.

The more I watch the more I like, the evasiveness is more around spatial awareness, as is the over the head handballs to teammates, he’s not as good as Reid but he’s a freak, it’s definitely very good footy nous that makes him seem “explosive” as he finds a way through traffic. The rugged tackling is more Switta-esk.
