Which means Brady will pick someone elseEveryone seems to be in agreement on Thredgold. Boring.
I think Phillipou would be the only one other than Thredgold, Ludowyke or Emmett we'd probably look at.Instantly wanted Dovaston when there was speculation that we'd be moving up. Really glad we ended up nabbing him.
Some unpopular opinions:
I think Whitlock will be a forward as he develops, so would like us to target a KPD tonight - like we tried for in free agency.
Thredgold's profile ticks all the boxes, so should be a no-brainer.. but there's just something about his game that doesn't give me the same confidence a lot of others have. He just doesn't seem to be an instinctual player to me and feels a little laboured in processing the game. Likely I'm wrong, and maybe it's something that's easy coachable in an AFL system even if so.
The one left on the board that I really do like is Phillipou, I think he'll have a very good AFL career and would love to somehow pick him up - obviously there would be pitchforks if it's in favor of a KPD though. So I think Thredgold is still the safe pick regardless.
Really interested to see what comes our way trade wise, and if either of those 2 happen to slide giving us an opportunity to jump back in and take both. I think that would be an outstanding draft haul to take away along with Dovaston.
There are key position forwards better than Ludo in next years draft.Pick 26 ludo
Pick 45 Onley
Cmon Brady get it done
Are any of those 190+ and can kick?LeRay, Onley, Greeves, Rodrieguez, BOB (mids)
