Looks like he has stripped little bit of weight. Looks cut. May lead to more possessions?? Lol
More impactful possessions. From about 28 avg possessions onwards, possessions are much of a muchness. Difference between that and an average of six more is negligible, unless your name's Gary Ablett Jnr

Man I love this bloke. Was already fifth gear in his professionalism but had kicked it up even further this pre season. He has a great relationship with Trac, who is probably one of if not the most professional bloke out there.

We have guys on our list who sink piss and eat poorly. There are guys who stay up all night gaming or at shows. This kid lives and breathes footy, health and fitness.

I really like this build on him, because it is apparent - particularly in light of the call made on Phillips and Powell not seeming capable of being that week in week out inside player that we were short on players that could fight out a game right in the centre. Just get in & under with muscle, creativity and then dangerous spread. As much as he is very capable, forward, back - well anywhere - we have plenty of mid sized forward options and working through our mid sized back ones. We can't wait another 3-4 years to give dangerous support to LDU or we are just wasting years.

Captain harry
Yes it’s time.

The club needs a real standard setter and someone that wants to improve themselves and those around him.
No more pussyfooting around and looking for excuses , why he shouldn’t have it.
Look at why he should have it.

Parker might be a good leader but he’s practically done
X is a combative guy and with Ruck rules changing he might lose his influence on games- also don’t think he could inspire anyone with his words
Larkey sooks to much

Ok so anymore possessions than 28 isn’t really worthwhile. Gotcha.
That's the way I see it, and I think the best teams over the years prove that. Optimal inside midfield damage is usually done by players getting it 23-28 times a game, kicking goals as they go. Sheezel led the league for total and average uncontested possessions and finished.... equal fourth at his own club for average score involvements. Overall behind multiple players from each club except Richmond and West Coast in that stat.

Fwiw I reckon Sheez could go 25 and 1.5 next year with a bit of good fortune. He does have that rare skillset combination. My point is only about impact. Less ball hunting, more strategy, hopefully more physical capability, because the concrete boots took hold on several occasions this year

Agree with all except I think Xerri speaks better than is claimed around here and I would be ok with Larkey.

So word on the street is being trialled as Cpt.

Or that he wants it. Either or I suppose
Had heard snippets of this.

Between the end of the season and probably about a fortnight ago thinking had moved between the club and the player and that captaincy was more on the table for 26 than it had been previously.
