You can be suffering from mental illness and still be a complete arseh*le. Its not a free pass from scrutiny. Some people bring up their mental illness to destigmatise it in order to help others reach out and find help. Others use it up as a shield to cover for their general shitty selfish behaviour.

I work in the cancer space. Most people I see with cancer gain some perspective and humility going through the experience of managing cancer. There is the rare person that uses their diagnosis to further enable their shitty behaviour to their loved ones.

I mean there is letting someone you’ve procured to professionally run some finances on your behalf, and then there is negligence. I think Pendles might have let this one slip past the keeper. Surely his accountant or even himself would have stayed a little involved in this??

Seems to have been a big bet on Western Sydney soccer club.It may still come off but high rewards means high risk.His manager has been quoting texts which allegedly show knowledge on Pedels behalf .I suspect the manager may be bankrupt before all the info comes out.

I'm probably in the minority but I really like what Carlton have done in this trade/draft period.

They've pushed some big personalities out like Curnow, TDK and have got lot of workman like buzzing players into the list - Hayward, Florent, Ainsworth and so on. If these players step up to play a bigger role next season and Chesser comes on like how he promised end of 2025 - that'll be a decent list turnover with quality added back in.

Also waiting to see how Dean, Ison and Byrne fit in as well, all capable of adding in areas of need - KPD, 3rd tall and small forward - for Voss.
