I don't have any issue with Mo's interview after the Leeds game. Mo is in that rarified company of exceptional high achieving players who have broken numerous records and display some narcissistic traits of extreme self confidence, high ambition and generally a need for recognition. It's these traits that have propelled Mo to break scoring records with us. It is also these traits that will stop him in accepting a role of impact player coming off the bench. He did really well when he came on against Brighton and it would've great to see him cap off his career with Liverpool with another goal. I truly believe he's played his last game for Liverpool.
I dont think he's played his last game for us.

He wants to be here. He just wants to play. He will figure it out.

Yeah the battles we've had with City and all their grubby money, but the Arsenal fans make it impossible to hope they beat City, so I kinda want City to beat them too haha.

38 years since Everton's last title
21 years since Arenal's last title
12 years since Manure's last title

Long may it continue

Top clubs need more than one good striker though.

If we didnt buy Isak and Ekitike gets injured? Who we playing up top? Gakpo, Chiesa, Mo?
Should always aim to have 2 quality players in every position.

I agree. Once Mo isn't at the level where is a starter every week I don't believe he will want to stay and history has shown club legends do not wish to reduce their role in such a way.

When Mo gets to that level only he and the club will know.

That is the right time for him to move on. I don't want him staying until he's just an experienced legend offering something off the bench.

Honestly would have been handy for us these last couple years too. We got rid of him way too soon

We didn't get rid, he didn't want to hang around as not being a starting xi player anymore. Klopp was happy to keep him.

Milner was happy with that role while Hendo wasn't.

I too would have liked him to stay.

Why are dodgy free kicks that lead to a goal unable to be reviewed?

Because they're just a free kick. The alternative would be reviewing everything on VAR incase a goal is scored on the next play and the sport would become like NFL with all the stoppages.

VAR for goals, red cards works just fine as long as it is implemented properly.

I only listened on the radio coverage - but it sounded like the free kick that led to the Bruno goal was a clear and obvious mistake.

If it leads directly to a goal then I think that is more influential than some of the other rubbish they waste time looking over and over.

I still think there should be a captains challenge that you get 1 of per game or per half that you can challenge a free-kick or corner. Too many goals are scored from wrongly awarded free-kicks and corners.

Totally agree.

This isn't basket or AFL where scoring is generally fairly easy.

Nah there's already enough breaks in play now with VAR, definitely don't need even more reviews slowing things up.

Live with the decision and move on. Cricket has 2 reviews for an innings which can go 2 days sometimes.
4 team reviews in 90 minutes + the already existing VAR reviews would be terrible.

It maybe but it's still just a free kick. We are not a sport where everything is replayed over and over again.

Just goals & red cards.

Imagine challenging something and VAR still botches it completely because they are stupid or corrupt. That'd be peak television

No Mo or Dom.

Guess we lineup as:

----------------------Ali-----------------

Bradley------Ibou------Konate-------Robbo

----Mac----------Grav-------------Curtis

-----Isak---------Hugo----------Wirtz

Mama
Kerkez
Frimpong
Jogo
Lucky
Endo
Gakpo
Chiesa

Maybe once Frimpobg is up and running he can play in Mos spot.
