I think Vossy can sit back and compare players like Merrett and Fyfe. Both darn good players (well one slightly better !!!), but one revered around the club for loyalty even through adversity, the other departing when the going gets too tough.

Loyalty is so underrated in many ways.

The last sentence is why no one will ever displace Pav as the greatest Docker for me.
Could have gone anywhere for huge money but endured all the humiliation of playing for a club that was a joke for a long time and almost single handedly built a culture of excellence and for a window, a team to genuinely fear.

Absolutely stoked with this. He is an absolute weapon, a leader, driver of standards and just a talismanic player that can take a game by the scruff.
He & Treacy are close to the most exciting young pairing of power forwards in the comp and with Amiss hopefully given more of a role roaming up the ground plus the likes of Bolton, Reid, Switta around them plus all the new potential smalls we brought in I think a serious case could be made that this has the potential to be the strongest forward half Freo has ever put out.
