Cox and Darcy were opposed in the early ruck contests. I thought Cox did well. Perhaps Darcy is going to struggle against the taller rucks who can jump.
Draper was opposed to Amiss. Amiss had some good moments marking on the lead up the middle.Draper’s kicking was immaculate and I thought was the best defensive rebounder.
Kickett appears to have a powerful kick.Had set shot from 50 and covered the distance easily. Looked confident about that when lining up. Scored a point.
Freddy, Switta and Ryan ran laps, and laps, and laps.

Here I was thinking "why the **** is our fullback rucking" until I remembered.
It's going to take me a while to get my head around the fact we have two Cox.

He was off interstate but the Eagles came calling late and makes sense to stay in the same state and not uplift your family if don’t have to. He is a good pick-up for WCE but sounds like his time was up at Freo.

Posters getting their knickers in a knot about kings park runs and different shuttle runs amuses me.

They did a different style of fitness running to start the PS training and the players were cooked but it is different and no good.

Ole mate loves his kings park runs. Yes that hill is a slight incline but my experience with running that part frequently is that the surface is terrible and chopped up. An ankle injury waiting to happen. Hard as a rock as as well.

Gotta say Voss and Treacy looking absolutely great. Both look absolutely brilliant in sprint work and looking super strong in marking contests too.
Amiss is definitely playing a role more similar to a third leading tall like Fritsch than a second tall role. He looks quick and his run up to goal appears to have improved. He is coming in at a faster speed and with more momentum.
Riddle is showing promise in his contested marking in match sim play. He has put on a ton of muscle since last season.
Simpson is another looking great. He's put on enough muscle that his tackling has improved a ton.

Gees. I used to think I was pretty average height at 178. Now I’m barely tall enough for football.

It's just all the protein we now have access to. Eat a lot of protein at a young age and you get taller than if you didn't. Works for animals too and the giant chickens they grow.

We have really shot up in the past 50-100 years.

I have definitely not shot up in the last 50yrs
