Wolves is a genuine shot at breaking their duck against Liverpool this week.
Reds will struggle to field a match day squad

Wolves best chance was against a burnt out Brentford and besides a 20min burst where they squandered a handful of chances they were largely garbage.

Liverpool recently meanwhile have won their last 2 games, and draws against a strong Sunderland side and a much improved Leeds team while also beating Inter @ Inter in the UCL.

So yeah knowing this season Wolves probably shithouse a 1-0 win with an expected goals of 0.002xG vs 5.43xG.

Realistically Pool will batter them, win 5-2 or something.

But surely that doesn’t mean only 12 players are available?
Possible match day squad

Alisson
Kerkez- Konate - van Dijk - Frimpong
Gravenberch - Jones
Ngumoha - MacAllister - Wirtz
Ekitike

Subs: Mamardashvili, Robertson, Lucky, Ramsay, Nyoni, Chiesa (bench of 6 plus maybe a third keeper Woodman and a couple of youth kids)

As Arteta said recently, running the same 11-13 players puts strains on the squad and more susceptible to add to that list of injuries.

Rich clubs complaint I know

I think Wolves have been level at half time in their last 7 matches, 5 of them against teams in the top 8, so dams gotta break sometime

Chelsea
Palace
Villa
United
Forest
Arsenal
Brentford

That seems like more than 12 available if you can have your backup keeper, robbo and chiesa on the bench.

Ngumoha on field to play left wing, could play 2 up front with Chiesa instead.

So 12 senior yes, not including Mamardashvili as you can’t play two keepers on field (the way we’ve played at times this year I wish we could!)

Looks like the worst round of matches, have been generous with a couple -

Match of the Round:
Chelsea v Aston Villa (Chelsea gets a chance to break the Villans remarkable 10 game winning streak… and I’m relatively confident they will)

Compelling:
Sunderland v Leeds (Leeds have been undeniable the last month and the undermanned Black Cats are ripe for the taking)

Watchable:
Manchester United v Newcastle (both been in decent form despite results not panning out and the pressure is building)
Forest v Manchester City (City should comfortably get the win but for the sake of the title race it’s interesting)
West Han v Fulham (already feels like the Hammers need to go on a points run to avoid relegation)
Arsenal v Brighton (Brighton gave the Gunners trouble last season but surely won’t pinch more points)

Meh:
Brentford v Bournemouth
Burnley v Everton
Palace v Tottenham (Palace seem worn out now sadly)

Just give them the points:
Liverpool v Wolves (I actually think Wolves are a red hot chance but am trying to be neutral)

I have had the, erm, fortune, of watching a few of their matches and in a lot of games they aren't behind at HT because the other team is inaccurate or Wolves have sat really deep.

Against Brentford they had a 10min burst before HT, and about 20mins after HT where they pushed for a goal but then Brentford scored and they all deflated.

I would be genuinely shocked if they don't win a game this season, I think they will win 3 by the end of the season, but its looking bad for them.

They have a rough run coming up too, Pool (5th), Man U (7th), WHU (18th), Everton (10th), Newcastle (11th), Man City (2nd), Bournemouth (15th), Chelsea (4th).
WHU and Bournmouth at home since both teams are struggling, and maybe they can cause an upset and take a point off Everton or Newcastle.
Maybe they get Man U at the right time with their injuries and missing AFCON players.

On the 12 days of Christmas, the Premier League gave to me…
12 VAR apologies
11 managers sacked
10 injury crises
9 dodgy handballs
8 points deducted
7 refs in hiding
6 goal-line checks
5 YEAR CONTRACTS
4 trophy parades
3 title races
2nd place Arse-nal
And City relegated for FFP!

Amorim is starting to get the best out of his players. Dorgu has been good in this game. Mount has been playing well lately. Shaw is looking more mobile up and down the left. Heaven's confidence has improved.

Without Bruno too.

Second half theyve regressed though, siege is an understatement
Defended well as a unit though

Newcastle have had the chances to get something from this game, totally dominating possession in the second half, but haven't converted.

A Newcastle side that has been absolutely awful on the road had almost twice as many shots. Luckily for Amorim this time he was against a team that didn't know how to finish their work off.

Forest v City a decent game, Forest giving a good account of themselves.
Ange has done wonders with their game style.
Huh

Hate playing teams like Forest. Complain about every decision no matter if its a correct one or not, dive all over the place, try and get players booked.

It starts with Dyche. What a knob.
