Russian Forces Deliberately Attack UN Aid Convoy

On October 14, news broke that Russian forces, using drones, had attacked a United Nations interagency convoy delivering humanitarian aid to Bilozerka in the region of Kherson, southern Ukraine.

Having spent the better part of a year investigating similar Russian drone attacks in Kherson, talking to survivors, and analyzing hundreds of videos like this one from Bilozerka, I was still shocked but not surprised.

Russia’s military is using these, quadcopter drones with cameras that enable the operator to see in real time what they are striking, to conduct a brutal, devastating campaign in the Kherson region. Killing and injuring civilians in their hundreds each month, they are attacking people in their homes, farmers harvesting crops, ambulance teams responding to emergencies, and humanitarian workers trying to aid those most in need.

The Russian drone operators knew they were targeting a UN convoy. That they shared the video for all to see indicates they do not believe they will face any consequences.

India will eventually accept Russian oil at a knock down price that's unsustainable for the Kremlin because they're desperate.

Russia in no position to negotiate price a oil has to be traded otherwise a massive surplus of vatnik oil builds up devaluing Urals oil even further.

The Chinese have shown the desire to expand their borders to the pre 100 years of barbarian humiliation borders of China, much like Putin has demonstrated a desire to expand Russia's borders to the pre WW1 borders.

But I have seen nothing to suggest they are interested in further expansion by way of annexing nations beyond this. Sure an obvious desire to influence and control by way of economic, military and political might, much like the US does now. Indeed the present willingness of the US to entertain annexing nations is a sign of US weakness, that their bullying no longer works as well as they would like.

So force the Philippines to accept Chinese control of the South China Sea within the nine dotted line, yes. Invading and annexing the Philippines? No

But invading nations like the Philippines in the future because they refuse to toe the line, replacing the leadership and boosting Chinese economic dominance. Just like the US has done for some 150 odd years in the America's and elsewhere, yea I can see that.
