Nah, once Indian private equity money comes in, the importance of revenues via crowds becomes far less important. It's more about how the BBL can manoeuvre around existing T20 leagues so owners can use the same players across ownership groups in different competitions. The SA20 and the ILT20 are already played in this window, BBL will be moved to accommodate that (given that they're now talking pink ball tests).

I find it bemusing that supposed test class players would have such a technical flaw. I was coached as a young player (and by that I mean under 10) to have bat and pad together in a forward defence. Could drive a truck through the gap between bat and pad with Smith. Very good ball but played it so badly.
