I like the selection. The hybrid mid/forward is a genuinely useful role and he has done a perfect apprenticeship for it

I also liked him mentioning Managh as a role model. He would have been handy for us, and like Geelong we are a club that values mature recruits who have had to work for the opportunity.

He has a slight advantage of a more mature body, so he may get first crack.
