Just heard on ABC radio.
A prominent Melbourne based sports administrator.
Has approched CA about a 50 OVER MATCH TOMMOROW AT THE Mcg.
1,million dollars prize money for the winner
Like 1971,the first 50 over match in Melbourne.After a 3 day washout.

An ODI match on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday would probably be too much to ask but giving folk a mini ODI series to make up for this shit Test (nothing to do with England probably winning) would be cool.

We won't know till they play Test Cricket, Neser & Richardson look good in shield but don't look anywhere near the quality of Starc, Hazlewood & Cummins and even Boland to be fair.

Yeah, they can get wickets but far too inconsistent to be great.

Depends what you want in the bowlers but should blood some.

Quick look and Beardman and Vidler look like bowling 150s as 20yo.
