If Webster duplicates Green's knock and partnership with Smith, we practically put the possibility of a win out of England's hands.

Frustrating, undoubtedly... but people seem to get more frustrated with him getting set and throwing his wicket away in the 30s than they would if he'd been clean bowled for 3.

Could have provided a lot more, but he's made a solid contribution.
They get frustrated because he had the chance to completely bat England out of the game, he then threw it away. Like he did in Melbourne and Adelaide and Brisbane.

It was a flat wicket with tired bowlers and the ball not doing a lot. It is legit perfect conditions and he threw it away.

we had a lady tell a couple to wait until the end of the over before coming through the aisle. hadn't seen anyone do that in years
Had that happen in Perth too. They'd waited until it was between balls (and it was Archer, so it wasn't as if there wasn't time). But nup, he was having none of it.

With Albanese not making the traditional day 3 appearance at the SCG test we miss the annual influx of idiots complaining about the PM appearing on TV and radio
He was booed and heckled last time he went to the eastern suburbs so best he stay away.

Just had a look. Yardley and Hogan both 5fers, and Wessels and Hookes both 140's
It was one of SL's early Tests.

Just looked it up - it was their 6th, but only their second ever home Test match.

Look, he's trash but you've gotta give Potts some credit for continuing to just trudge in there and serve up those pies ball after ball, cant be good for the self-belief
