Just the transition process. Rosenior would have been told the job is his but it wasn't official. It's now official but Calum McFarlane will control the team against Fulham.
In fairness, most Chelsea fans online have no idea of the pre-Abramovich era.

Tough for Frank. I know Ange had bad injury problems last season, mainly back four. This season Frank has been without Maddison, Kulusevski and Solanke whole season. Ange’s teams struggled when those guys missed as well. Plus Ange had a productive Son in his first season. Never thought their midfield was good enough …well for a few years now.

Ange got through the back end of the Europa run without Maddison, Kulu and Bergvall and didnt have Kudus or Simons to call upon.

Brentford look fine and possibly better without Frank. All of Mbuemo, Wissa and Norgaard weren't interested in joining Frank at all. He is hopeless.
For anyone unfortunate to watch us regularly can see it's system more than talent costing us. Not saying we're a title level squad but should be safely top 6. Players are freezing and playing backwards by design. The progressive pass stats are most telling with this. If it was a player problem we'd be mid table on pass attempted and bottom on pass completion. But we are miles behind 2nd last on progressive passes attempted, thats instructional

Had Solanke, Maddison and Bergvall up to the quarters. Bergvall missed from there. Other two scored in the semis against mighty Bodo. Lost Maddison for the final and only had three shots on goal against a poor Utd.

Maddison was only partially fit and played 1 leg of the quarters. Ange results were more fluctuating on Romero and VDV availability. Around 60% win record with them. Around 30% without.
Frank has had them fit all season. He's had Richarlison scoring at as good a rate as Solanke to counter that missing piece. The maddison and Kulusevski misses are real but we've had Maddison miss before and covered him. Kudus, Simons and Kolo Muani all at frank disposal which ange never had. Its square peg coach with round hole squad.
Incredibly poor choice by Johan Lange. No surprises that villa look better after he left. As do Brentford after Frank left

Maddison scored in first leg of the semi. Don’t get me wrong think Ange was hard done by. But think underlying issue is poor squad build for the money they’ve spent

Ange with a semi fit squad that wasn't as good as this finished 5th. With a barely fit squad he won a trophy.
Frank with a better squad and 3 injuries which have been there since day 1 pretty much is being handled awfully. He is now getting injuries on the job. Losing to sidea like Bournemouth and Forest in the middle of their own awful runs. Relegation safety is the priority with no trophy hope. Luckily the bottom 3 are even worse again.
El Sackico between us next week it is then.
