Did anyone see if Cooper is anything like his dad …… you know lay hard crunching bump, walked off at the end of training with a bandage around his head or got someone on their tippy toes by squeezing their larynx with a smile on his face!
Yep, watched him many times play school footy and definitely likes dishing it out. If a fight starts on the ground Cooper will be in there!

Any track watchers that can comment on how your draftees are looking? Would have loved Dalton and Schubert at the Eagles.

Dalton’s disposal by foot and hurt factor were the main modifiable knocks coming into the draft, I presume Mitchell would have spent considerable time working on these with him.

I haven’t seen “bad disposal by foot” as Dalton’s weakness so far in the pre season.

Pretty surreal that I was actually able to make it to training today. The timing of being down this way with the family visiting my sister in law in Hastings, with this morning being the travel day from St.Kilda was pretty epic.

Buying merchandise from the store and having a kick to kick with my son adjacent to the boys training was soul repairing. I lost my father a week ago, and we nearly didn't go on this trip as a result. Incredibly glad that we did.

Super bullish on our 2025 draft crop. Every one of those players has massive upside.

I can't remember the last time we finished top 4 and had such an exciting haul from the draft.

Sorry to hear about your dad. Continuing to do things that bring you joy are pretty important in tough times so I'm glad to hear the training did it for you.

I couldn't make it but huge thanks to everyone who takes the time to post a report. Really makes a difference and it's almost like being there (sans the gale force winds!)

Me too, he's probably last in line to debut from the group but I think eventually LeRay may be the cream of the crop.

Reminds me of watching Sicily draft highlights and knowing he'd be a star but would take time.

I think the tall rangy winger is the way of the future and he fits that perfect. Curtain, Weddle, Nik Cox, Dempsey etc..

Not convinced yet that the new rules will be too much of an advantage for Reeves.

Yes, he's taller than the rest but isn't exactly an athletic, jumping type. The likes of TDK and Jackson could jump all over the top of him.

Wonder if Ramsden might end up being the biggest beneficiary on our list...

To a certain extent maybe, but that's where ruck craft comes into it. Gawn is the master of jumping slightly early and into his man, he then lands tall and uses his height and reach to tap to advantage. I think Reeves can certainly emulate that style.

Reeves first 3 center bounces against Meek were golden with great taps to advantage which gave white, Ramma and Schu some great looks at it. That didn't last long as they were then in the same team and Ramma took up the ruck duties

Sorry to hear, man!
