Simply put Trump is loving shooting his mouth off and facing no consequences because the position of power and influence the country has means that no real action can be taken. He's simply looking at now how far he can go. Surely the N word with the hard R can't be too far away
I'm waiting for a big speech, say SoU or UN, and the mush in his head shorts and he starts reminiscing in locker room detail, about one of his fun days with old mate Jeff. :winkv1:

No apparently she didn’t say it. But that’s the point, when you say so much ridiculous shit, it’s easy to be parodied and nobody can tell whether it’s real or not.
One of the positive things of flooding the zone with BS. You become lampoon fodder :winkv1:

No idea how anyone manages to do anything in that sort of cold.

My only time in Minnesota in winter, we went every summer to visit relatives, it was like that graphic. It is surreal. It had been a dry winter so no snow, just blue sky and no breeze. We were warned about how to breathe when we went outside. You absolutely cannot breathe deeply into the lungs. They would freeze and you're screwed. The air does not feel cold and the bright sun doesn't help, but you do feel a weird sensation on the hairs inside you nose. That is all, very deceptive and surreal.

There is a large portion of the adult population who do not know that there were other nations involved, on the US's side in conflicts like Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam, WW2. They don't understand that climate change means extreme weather conditions from warm to cold, not just global warming. They don't know that the maps they're used to distorts the sizes of lands at the poles. They don't understand about tariffs, public health measures like masks or immunizations. They can't discern real life from culture war.
It is called Fox Nation.

Yes you could argue that this racial exclusion has been in the US the whole time, but my point is that when a child tells another child "Trump is going to get you,” that's an appeal to state violence not just social exclusion.

When was the last time American kids used a president as an appeal to authority to excludes other kids? Woodrow Wilson in WW1 and Germans? Roosevelt in WW2 and Japanese Americans? Bush after 9/11?

Three difference here is that there was no major violent event that caused racial division at this level. This was purely manufactured through ideology and the cult like like conditions.
Hard to tell from the past. Children were more separated from politics by parents and lack of media. A lot of it is because politics is more in everyone's faces, and there is spillage from the parents onto the kiddos. They start aping the adults around them.
But I could see some kid in the early 20th century being Teddy Roosevelt play fighting against some enemy like Indians or the Spanish. Trump is an omnipresent character, whether they understand why or not. It would have been Nixon in my own time, and while I was familiar with the name, he was too remote to be a character in my consciousness. Not until Watergate at least, but I was a teen by then.

I hadn't seen the clip of his comments until earlier, no words really. They have to start making plans to section 4 his ass if they haven't already, it's one car crash after another.

I’m starting to like Trump …

What if...Trump himself is a conspiracy to kill right wing politics?

While I knew of Nixon it was more separated by distance

The really first political awareness was the months leading up to the Whitlam sacking November 1975. The heat the speculation and then the hammer and the speech from the steps of Parliament House

While my family were atheistically Labor this was what made me recognise I never wanted to be Frasers friend. Especially with Little Johnny by his side

Don Chipp gave an alternative which my mother endorsed and I was happy to keep them in mind. I missed the 1980 election but was on the Hawke train in 83 and have mostly stayed the course

With all due respect, where was this abject outrage at the other few thousand unacceptable acts / words by Trump?

It's not even close to the worst thing he has done.

For clarity, I'm addressing the Brit in the video, not your post.

The transcript of his Davos "speech" is really disturbing.
He could very well be the local drunk perched on a barstool , 20 beers deep, waxing lyrical about how he could have been a champion....

The US is ****ed with him in charge, he is demonstrably stupid, incapable of absorbing facts, clueless with numbers and is repeating his stables " nobody thought" "greatest in the history of our country" " like we've never seen before" " they said sir!" constantly now.
His answers to the moderator questions should be a major concern.

Yes there are and they can do nothing to Trump. Is the International Court of Justice going to send armed commandos to arrest him?

Congress could, but won't. Its a crime, so what, so is launching a coup, taking classified documents, interfering in the Georgia election, taking bribes from governments like planes or gold bars, taking bribes for pardons. In any event the Supreme court gave him immunity for much of it.

I still see all those commentators go on and on about this illegal action or that illegal action. They could not even manage to convict him and jail him before he was president again. Anybody thinking the law is going to punish him is living in a fantasy world.
Yeah I don’t think he will ever face criminal prosecution again. Chances are he drops dead before that ever happens.

****ing pig of a bloke. Can't wait until he dies.
My cousin served in Afghanistan. I’ve seen the footage of him being shot at and that was only the stuff he was allowed to show us. My cousin alone put more effort, blood, sweat and tears into Afghanistan than Trump did.
