He’s certainly made kicking errors during games, but what player hasn’t? Even Dusty made some horrendous kicking errors on occasions.
Sonsie is a very good kick and has hit some fantastic options at times, with vision to pick the best option and execute. Needs to find the confidence and consistency at the level and he will be fine.
Will still have kicking errors at times, but what player doesn’t? He certainly seems to be the subject of tougher critiques than others for some reason.

agree someone like broad is a nice kick but a lot of his kicks are dinky 30m safe lobby kicks that don't make our deep forwards get exited, dusty was king of hitting that killer kick that had to be spot on or else was risky and if a bit off and would come unstuck. sonz also wants his kicks to cause maximum damage and hasn't got that timing right just yet, hope he is played as much as possible and told to back himself in.

Expect Richmond to roll out two, and potentially up to four debutants against Carlton in round 1. Patrick Retschko has made the wing his home at his new club, and Sam Grlj could line up on the other side – if not at half back. Josh Smillie needs an uninterrupted run through the rest of pre-season to feature, and Sam Cumming has also been impressive since arriving at the club. Zane Peucker could be a smokey addition to the forward line.
