Some very strong words of endorsement for Ollie from our Captain. Can't believe a few quotes from this article haven't been posted in the Ollie Greeves thread
And a few here, if I may say so...Some very strong words of endorsement for Ollie from our Captain.
I liked his comment about recruiters seemingly having concentrated on what Greeves can't do instead of what he can (a common issue with AFL recruiters).
I hope it isnt the same one he broke in the last game of last yearGinni. Broken finger.
Ginni. Broken finger.
I'll take that every day of the week in the reverse lotto that is pre season injuries.Ginni. Broken finger.
Was working out West Footscray last week and went for a walk around the Whitten Oval on my lunch break and I have to say the ground itself is looking in incredible condition. Not much chatter about the Whitten Oval game Vs Bulldogs?
Got our tix yesterday and there were heaps left.
For peeps who don't really know the area:
Take the train - by far the easiest way.
If you have to drive please note a lot of the streets around the Oval are resident only.
The West Footscray station car park fills quickly.
Bunnings car park in West Footscray is open until 9pm only! They will lock your car in after 9pm so don't use it unless you are planning to leave early!
Best parking is alongside Western PRIVATE Hospital - around 300 spots and only 5 mins walk to the ground.
Be a good test for the Hawks, well worth going IMHO
Been replaced with the same meters as every other parking meters in every capital city in the country.Hobart still had the old cash fed meters when I was there for work in 2017 - wouldn’t shock me if they hadn’t replaced them!

Good to see Frost back at the club and smiling.
Great photos! Go Frosty!
Thanks for the great photos, as usual. Good to see Frosty there.View attachment 2523465

Guernsey presentation.
No Will Day, Ginni or Dalton.
I did - back when 1 cent coins where still available. I was working in the bank whilst studying and the evening lecture went 10 minutes long and I copped a parking ticket. So a few days later I went to the council with a calico bag of 1 cent coins (I had emptied all of the coins out of the bank plastic bags in to the calico bag) to pay the fine and was told that the council was not going to accept the payment in coins. Obviously a heated discussion occurred and the Councl CEO came down and tried to force me to back down. Through my banking experience I knew it was legal tender, provided details of the law which stipulated that any form of cash payment had to be accepted and they reluctantly accepted the payment. They were pissed as it cost them more time to count the coins than the 10 minutes I was late
