And again, that isn't something he can control. He is a very good curator and the fact there are morons who don't understand the intricacies of what he does just focus on one mistake and say "HE MUST BE SACKED !!!!1!" for it can't be helped.

What do you want him to do? He made a mistake. His job is to learn from it, grow and adjust. Expecting him to nail every pitch is unrealistic but he's been given lisence to try things, his leash will be tighter after the stuff up but being the excellent curator that he is he learned, adjusted and produced a great pitch in the very next game.

Low scores caused by a) Tasmania playing woeful shots in a pink ball game (Pink ball moves more than the red) b) the green pitch in QLD caused by numerous days of rain prior to the match, not enabling the pitch to be dried.

There are explanations for these things, unlike leaving too much grass on the wicket at the MCG because the curator is not great at his job.

I've seen we've lost a few. I don't recall seeing any highlights or anything on socials though.

It’s easy to say since we’ve generally always been pretty bad at the format but I’ve never really cared about international T20s. I Don’t think it helps that the IPL is the pinnacle of the format and the World Cup is usually a lower standard.

Playing a World Cup every 2 years is way too often as well.

Likewise I've never cared for it, even in the early years. I really hate what it's done for the game.

And agreed, 2 years is way too often. I can't think of another world cup that's played that often.

No I didn’t even realise it was on until I saw YouTube recommendations of the India and Pakistan match, which is always essential viewing for me. Aside from that very little interest in and wouldn’t know how the results are faring otherwise.

I got some for day 1 but i may or may not go depending on how jacked up the airfares are
