Good to see Ginni at the oval.
He says Round 0 is still the aim.

Ginni looking in ripping shape, and appears very driven this year - could be anything, fingers crossed for a huge season from him.

Umm, he’s a key forward. Not an outside mid. The idea that he’s going to be defended harder or differently than any other year makes little sense.

If they weren’t already putting time into him they’d not be professional coaches.

He will get the best Defender but that was already happening by the middle part of the year when he was kicking bags regularly. Cats had their best key back on him in Henry in the Prelim and he still should have kicked at least 4.

A quick summary (or just based from the small sample of sessions that I have seen).

According to a trackwatcher (as I came in late) Blanck and Will Day showed up early but went back inside soon.

Nuke and TB went inside after spending an hour at the oval. Probably still sore.

All the Origin players are back.

Nairn moves very smoothly in the sessions.

Perez displays his kicking ability again.

Gunners still got it his forward craft in display.

Impey is always running and in attack mode.

Sic getting his confidence back.

I've got no inside information but from what I've seen he had a few complications post ACL surgery. I'd imagine they're carefully increasing his loading. Track watchers would know if he's been participating in any contact work.

That's long in the past know though you'd think. He returned to play VFL last year.

Unless there are still niggles or a new issue. I was surprised he didn't get a run in the match sim considering Sicily only played a half and barrass, battle and hardwick were out.

Before his AFL there was an expectation that it was him or Frost in 2024 with him having the nose in front. Seems Mraz has leaped past him now and he is not in the plans anymore.
