Must say that the Voss academy seems to be paying dividends.

Were some real clunks for all our kpfs + Jackson yesterday.

Nothing better than a big pack mark without a bobble in the hands.

Looking forward to more of that this year.
I will stake my claim right now and say that if we end up winning a flag and having our golden era: Josh Treacy will be the single most important factor in that coming to fruition. Yes there's a great culture brought by many of our current leaders like Serong and Brayshaw but nobody has brought a stronger emphasis to extra-curricular skills and fitness work in our culture than Treacy. Founder of the Voss academy (and, wisely naming it after the larrikin rather than himself), the stuff you see coming out about how he throws himself into his work and brings the others around with him is absolutely incredible.

Smart cookie too.

I’d love to know how true the rumours are that the club had a Michael walters type crack at him and he didn’t take it well at all and was close to getting delisted. Then reflected over the offseason and had his break out year after becoming more professional.

I have said it before - he should be our next captain. He is the perfect modern alpha male.

Can confirm... not true.

There was talk of a WAFL level game after the main hit out yesterday
Did that eventuate and if it did we would like to see how our boys went

I want a VOSS ACADEMY teeshirt.View attachment 2533330

Good idea but not a great logo

The club should print a Voss Academy shirt. If both he and Tracey have huge seasons they will sell well.

Could be a printout of both is painted form leaping at pack marks with a pony logo positioned on it.

West coast fans on Facebook "We were missing our whole defense."

The same defense that you had last season and it sucked?

I hope its ok to post here!

How close to full strength are you expecting to be for next weeks trial in Mandurah?

Do you have many injured players at the moment?

We were close to full strength this week.

We get Clark back this week, only missing 2 or 3. Ryan, Switta maybe 1 more

Retrospectively if you do the 2020 draft again knowing what we know now where does he land?

IMO top 10 easily and looking at who was drafted that year possibly top 5

Gulden, Holmes, Thilthorpe, Newcombe (was taken mid season 2021 but was overlooked like Treacy in the ND so he counts), McCreery?? are probably top 5 for now. He could break into that

He easily breaks into that, IMO. Offer any club the choice between McCreery or Treacy and every club will take Treacy.

TBH I put question marks because I wasn't sure. When I looked again there was Ginnivan, S. Neale, even Jamarra if he gets it together who I'd have over McCreery

I'd say Top 5. Gulden and Thilthorpe are comfortably 1&2. Ugle Hargan if he gets his shit together would be up there, Holmes maybe. McCreery perhaps. I'm not sure I'd take anyone over him in a redraft but there really aren't many that make me rethink that stance

Edit: Forgot Newcombe as well

Me watching the the scratch match just now: huh, Pat Voss is kinda looking like Jonathon Brown right now. Checks Voss height, 195cm, checks Jonathon Brown height, 195cm, oh wow, interesting.
Voss is a young bloke but he has some catching up to do. Jono Brown had played CHF in three premiership sides by the time he was the pony's age.
