Better late than never, but you have to wonder how effective it can be now we're into the season proper. Time for this would have been from the first day of post season last year.
I wouldnt be sending him to perth. Im on side of caution with GW. Get him Cherry ripe for round 3

I see it but i dont believe it! Dorsiflexion!!

He is trying to run in a way that protects his hammies. Lifting his toes up.

His right side was better than the left.

Also low leg recovery and a shorter stride.

It is also is a faster action. If he can maintain this technique under pressure he will both protect the hammies and run faster.

He will need constant reminders to keep doing it. Takes a while for it to become habit and muscle memory to take over.

It's crazy he runs as fast as he does with such poor mechanics. Must be putting out a lot of power.

I had to fully remodel my running for PHT and everything you describe is what I was ordered to do. Front side mechanics baby.

Get a room you two.

Did you consider an elite trainer that does all kinds of athletes may have been... unavailable?

Or we were using him as an advisor and thought after the most recent issue went "mate just bloody get here. Charge whatever we need you with him"

Yep, they are relatively simple but very effective changes. The challenge will be doing it in a game. Much harder to maintain than when just running. But the fact he is doing it gives me some hope they doing what they can.

While I posted he might come in for Dova or Konstanty I'd be inclined as many others have said to give him the extra week and not have to fly.

How did you notice the changes to your mechanics?

I guarantee you Mackinnon has been at him. The bloke is a superstar

The five interchange bench might help him. Lot easier to carry a low tog mid. Keep him fresh with short bursts.

LDU
Sheezel
FOS
Warlord
Kerch

Potential A grade calibre midfield.
Can’t wait to see them in the team together, fit and firing.
Based on Sunday and spurts of last year potential might already be met. The easier bit, effort and defence, is what needs to be maintained
