He is trying to run in a way that protects his hammies. Lifting his toes up.
His right side was better than the left.
Also low leg recovery and a shorter stride.
It is also is a faster action. If he can maintain this technique under pressure he will both protect the hammies and run faster.
He will need constant reminders to keep doing it. Takes a while for it to become habit and muscle memory to take over.

Based on Sunday and spurts of last year potential might already be met. The easier bit, effort and defence, is what needs to be maintainedThe five interchange bench might help him. Lot easier to carry a low tog mid. Keep him fresh with short bursts.
