Couldn’t get numbers for 26 as junior club didn’t have 17s in 2025. Hopefully be rectified going forward

coach arrangement), the amount paid to the coach who is a Player that is not a Player Payment and may be excluded from


the calculation of the Club's Player Payment calculations is no more 50% of their total remuneration, to a maximum of


1$10,000. For example, if a playing coach and non-playing coach are paid $15,000 each, then $7,500 of the playing coach


payment would not be a Player Payment and would not be included in the calculation of the Club's Player Payments

The EFNL and/or AFL Vic has reduced the Co-coach discount down from 50% to 25% with a maximum of $10k discount. So, in the above example $3,750 is excluded from the salary cap. If I remember correctly this came about after a club (can't recall) tried to appoint 3 players as co-coaches.

Bennell is now co-coach with Stuart Hill. Haven’t seen anything about grice, though he may be there.
