Edmund really has his finger on the trigger with these stories. Seems like all of this has been pretty intentionally planned so hopefully it means there's a real backbone to it all. Will be disappointing if Bobby falls off the radar again after what has been two writeups now. Regardless it's all promising, can't wait to see things develop more.

Its curtains if he falls off the radar again

No, he had to come back to the club and reintegrate with staff and players first. Which he's done.

Are you expecting him to just rock up on Monday and start training without having re-introducing himself?
I was not talking about going to the Club Privately

Now hopefully he can join in Training and don’t have any more Hiccups

I’d be surprised if we see him in the first half of the season. And not entirely surprised if he doesn’t feature at all… if the rumours of his very poor conditioning are true.

What’s more he’ll need to put in months of faultless commitment I imagine before he proves himself ready and worthy of senior football

Echoes of the Jamarra return to the dogs… where fitness, form and trust of team mates and football department saw him stuck in the VFL until trade time
Agree, smacks of contractual obligations as the motivation to me.

The poor conditioning is interesting as Bobby had been using a personal trainer, who was also training Karl Amon, Brad Hill and a few others. So at some point there was a commitment from Bobby to get fit.

This makes me happy. With all the black clouds around after a loss you forget that we’re missing 3 proven A graders from our team. What a boost it’d be getting Bobby, Howe and Moore back in and firing.

It does at least put to bed any discussion of kicking him off the list to get an extra MSD pick. No laughing emojis either 🤷‍♂️

A wonderful step forward by Bobby. I hope he is embraced by club and supporters. There is hard work and discipline required ahead. He has been in a similar situation being out of football for cancer treatment and recovery. May the path be good, may the smile return. Go well Bobby.

It would be hard having watched the boys play the last couple of weeks. Let's hope it inspires him to further greatness

I have felt there are more gears to Bobby. Illness and time away before had impacted. The Normie medal indicates he can rise high. During the period post 2023 GF I felt on field footy focus could be improved. May good come from recent difficulties

Yes, great news, definately makes CFC better....Posters can pretend CFC can replace but that's optimistically off the charts. Give him a month in the system and then inject him into the AFL team.

Unless you're happy to lose.

This is already amazing news, but to read that he’s put some weight back on is really nice to hear.

Hopefully he’s in a good headspace
Jesus. I could train him for that.

It will take more than a month to get AFL fit and elite touch back. Would need VFL games

But agree there is no one knocking the door down to take that silky small role

And maybe you are right… might of spilled his heart and the club might embrace him and give him an early game

Just reminds me a bit of the jamarra situation where he essentially checked out… but came back to the program so as to improve his chances of being deemed trade worthy to other clubs

Hope I’m wrong
