Is brilliant on SEN tbh - almost too honest.May be an unpopular opinion, but is anyone else enjoying Ken’s commentary? Seems a decent guy.![]()
Z Duursma having an excellent quarterNorth look really good offensively when the opposition don't apply pressure.
That's not even a shot at them, they just looked terrible at all times in previous years. Finally showing some evolution.
I am. He's good value.May be an unpopular opinion, but is anyone else enjoying Ken’s commentary? Seems a decent guy.![]()

Loving it. Fantastic, straight shooter and no BS. Great communicator. Great when he's on with Simmo.May be an unpopular opinion, but is anyone else enjoying Ken’s commentary? Seems a decent guy.![]()
Don't think he's had a touch since I posted thisZ Duursma having an excellent quarter
Heard Caro say during the week that Solomon is in the assistant coaching role as eyes and ears for Sheedy. Will be interesting to see how we go against them later in the season.
Solomon will have been in charge for a couple of months, and may have given them at least some idea how to defend
Greatest rabble this century
Will also be interesting to see how long Welsh lasts
Ofcourse he isHeard Caro say during the week that Solomon is in the assistant coaching role as eyes and ears for Sheedy.
What an embarrassment of an organisation if that’s remotely true. It’s like Clarko pulling strings to have Richie Vandenberg as an assistant against Sam’s will. Clown show.

He is a real breath of fresh air compared to the quasi techno babel and management corporate speak being used by so many AFL coaches and commentators trying to sound clever.Loving it. Fantastic, straight shooter and no BS. Great communicator. Great when he's on with Simmo.
No doubt I’m wrong, but I really don’t recall Buddy being berated by board and ex-players on choosing to leave and I don’t think * took in to consideration what the impact of playing hardball with Merrett and allowing every man and his dog to bad mouth him, might have had on second tier players.
When you hear current and past players bad mouthing a guy who has given it all to the club, I’ve no doubt your own confidence takes a beating out of fear of what happens if you don’t perform and that’s then reflected in how you play.
Even their flipping supporters are still advocating for Hird to coach them again after being the guy who destroyed them. The club is broken and it will remain broken while voices that shouldn’t be heard continue to have a voice and may that continue for eternity
They look like a club with a completely broken culture.
After that first quarter none of them looked like they care. Merrett had a very low impact 25 possession game. He is just dialling it in this year. I give them lots of shit for the fun of it, but that decision to play hardball with Merrett is going to coincide with a sharp decline in the club.
I think North will beat them and be the final note on a full calendar year without an Essendon win.
Crazy take but I recon they use fake crowd noise at certain points of the game, like the last 3 minutes when they were coming back. It was quite a loud raw but the sporadically spaced out crowd just didn't seem to add up with how loud it was.Crowd is still tbc from Engie Stadium from last night.
Massaging in place from the AFL right now. My guess is, 7k.
