I’d love to find how many games he’s played over 80 % TOG.
Don’t know where individual game stats are but he’s 59%, 73%, 62% per game across his 3 seasons.

As a comparison LDU was 66%, 67%, 75% in his first 3 and is now in the mid 80s.

One. Round 15 2024.

Aside from that, 75% ToG is about where he's peaked.

TBH if he averaged 75% across this season I would be stoked.

Whilst everyone was wilting in the last, he turned it right up in the last 5 minutes.

You could tell he knew the game could be on on the line and led from the front and dialed up his intensity to the max.

In stark contrast to “leaders” Simpkin and Zurhaar who thought they were in a school yard kick around.

This is what we can expect if we ever play finals the millennium

To be fair, that's likely because he wasn't coming back from a WA Sunday evening game played in 30 degree heat.

The rest of our guys were clearly ****ing sapped.

Also, George only played 54% game time, aiding his freshness in the closing stages.

Not really.

It's his first competitive game of the year, including the pre-season games.

His team mates had 4.5 games under their belts to that point.

Our side should be at peak fitness right about now.

It would have been a fair leveller.

It looked to me like he's been working on his kicking. It used to be the only concern about his game but he nailed basically everything he tried on Saturday.

A couple of mistakes in the last led to turnovers to the opposition.

But exactly what we wanted in terms of intent. While others went into their shells and showed how they can't deal with pressure, this guy swims against the tide in terms of what he sees from his senior leaders and tries to get the ball forward, picks off a tougher kick.

A different team when he is in it.

I have it on good authority that we were absolutely wrecked after last week and club was a tad worried and just glad we were able to hold on.

You could say that from a supporters point of view as well.
