Very interesting to see who gets his minutes.

Urquhart would have been a good replacement, given the defensive side to his game, but he is injured as well. Outside of him, I can't think of another mid with strong defensive skills (except Wardlaw).
George is obviously a tackling beast, and I thought he showed great discipline in shadowing Cripps (absolutely reemed him at times) but I don't see him picking up more minutes as the club looks to manage him.

Best case scenario is that they give the minutes to Powell, get him to play tight on Ashcroft or Neale, and he surprises everyone by showing levels of discipline and toughness we haven't seen before.

More likely, the load will be spread - we don't play particularly tight on any of their mids - and our midfield looks unbalanced as a result.
Yep LDU, Wardlaw and Sheez as main mids which leaves Powell (not sure if fully fit though) Parker, Simpkin and McKercher with some rotations. I hope McKercher gets the lion share

was just thinking that, who do we bring in.

RHJ probably the best bet. At least he has pace with decent skills and smarts. Scott might also be considered.
A prior poster nailed it.

Push Colby into the midfield and bring in RHJ. Other option would be to push Caleb foward to play Powell's role but Tommy seems to be struggling at the moment.

Tom has been poor so far this year. I'm not against bringing Spargo in.

I am guessing it was just a minor fracture, he didn't seem in any discomfort and was singing the song after the game. If you had a significant fracture/break you wouldn't be singing...

Not sure about that. I haven't seen anything reported since this update?

We should find out more around CoB tonight.

Well that's ok news for us.

Saw he was listed as a week away last week so figured he was an obvious inclusion. Still, we'll have our hands full whether he's in or not

Coleman Jones - Wardlaw - Sheezel
Stephens - LDU - McKercher

I: Powell - Hardeman - Duursma

We will be beaten. But we should be “ok” enough without FOS.

The mids will have to up their pressure to cover for both FOS and Xerri.

I hope we're not going in with that attitude. i'm hoping if we go in with the attitude that if we focus, really put in and brring some real pressure we can stick it right up them and shock the **** out of them.

We drew them last year. We should absolutely be aiming to beat them.
