Reckon you can wait a week on Newman.

Meant to be a wet game tonight, No Weitering and Haynes and ZWilliams back into the line up.

Won't hurt to get another look.
Very good points - come on down Heen dawg

Have $888k in the bank and keen for a spending spree. Considering Blakiston to Whitfield? Or Parish to a Steele?

NFI what to do with the second trade.

If anyone can help, much appreciated! :)
How about Blakiston to Whit/Ash (or even Newy), Sharp to Farrow ( or Anderson/ Robey if you're looking for cheaper rooks).

I would consider putting the E on Cook tonight and if he goes <60, then bringing in a FWD by trading Dovaston out. Maybe CMac, McInerney or Reid? (Use Trac as the loop)

Remaining cash might be able to get you from Blakiston to Kiddy Coleman? Or Parish to Finn Callaghan?

Team would be pretty strong after those dual upgrades.

What would be the maths on a combined 130-150 between McAndrew and Steene priced at combined sub 800k? As compared to a possibly 180-220 between Grundy/Gawn and McAndrew priced closer to 1.5-1.7? My plan of waiting to see McAndrew’s score vs Carlton tonight before deciding ruck trade out(s).

Still contemplating an upgrade in the MID over RUCK this week

English to Grundy

2nd trade still up in the air.. either Blak to Farrow for the cash gen or get greedy for some on field points and butters up to Baz or one of the must have defenders

Spend your cash this week, it's looking like a double downgrade week next week with Anderson and Robey debuting.

Good chance to get off Gallop or Lombard in the forward line.
Before you get excited to lock in Robey for next week, hes going to be playing predominantly forward for Essendon. He also starts priced at 33. Could be only 15-20 points upside total

Sharp went 50 and 16 in probably a similar role to what Robey gets.

Anderson might make it if he can get enough CBAs with Long, Daicos, Pendlebury, Sidebottom, JDG also in the middle.
More confident in Anderson than Robey

Even if Farrow goes up 80k this week, he might still be more value than Robey as a trade in next week

I have Ed Richards so if he misses again thinking of going to one of Bont, Merrett and Callaghan? Already have Naicos and Baz - but out of those 3 who will score the most?

Bont - Looks like the one, however doesnt have the best run coming up, looks like he could drop a 75 at any game, also 100k extra
Merrett- Run looks good till the byes, downside he plays for Essendon
Callaghan - cheapest, easiest run, however hasnt been consistent yet in his career
The thing with Ed Richards, is this quote here

Sounds like there was a possibility he was ok this week, seems fair to say theres an even better chance hes good next week

Yeah I wouldn't be keen on an 18yo rookie playing half forward for essendon. Given an inflated price I'll only consider him if he shows he can be involved in +6 gameplay like Farrow did

Assuming Gawn/Grundy score similarly to whatever premo mid you get in, its then Steene vs your m8. Maybe the likes of Balmires/Grlj/etc types?

I assume you have the possibility to loop your m8 too?

Id lean towards getting a ruckman

I dont think any Essendon forwards have done that, I dont think its even a possiblity he gets involved in teh +6s

The highest averaging Essendon forward so far this year is Wright and Caddy on 59, then a few more in the low 50s. I expect low 50s to be a good result tbh lol, unless Robey gets solid midfield time, which is unlikely as even Sharp who is a pure midfielder didnt get much midfield time

I have $344k in the bank and I'm in need of some serious help.

I was leaning towards holding English for the week, then with Blakiston's ruck DPP next week, moving him to a premium mid next week. That would mean this week it's X.Lindsay -> Farrow and Windsor -> Ash (leaving $41k).

However I'm having second thoughts. My other options would both involve trading English -> Edwards, but then either trading Blakiston to Farrow (banking over $1m), or Ash (banking ~$450k and missing out on Farrow).

Am I better off with my original plan of trading around English for the week or should I move him this week?

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

Im really happy with the Robey getting a game news, even more so with the Robey probably not worth it and sound logic from stallon

Gives me a good reason to spend cash next week :)
I could be wrong

He could be in the midfield a good amount but until I see it or hear more I cant see it happening.

Especially with Tsatas coming in, another guy who can play only mid

English to Grundy confirmed for my 1st trade which gives me $504k in the bank. Not sure what to do with the 2nd trade, as I have a bunch of rookies that are still gonna make cash (Jacques, Grlj, Smith, Farrow, Cook). Feels too early to hop off Bruhn, Robertson also.

Maybe I'll upgrade Milera to Ash, or could dump Caldwell also. Arghh, I'm torn

Reckon I'll pass on Farrow, he'll be a good pick no doubt, but would be a bench player. Think it's a better move to release an extra $185k from Blakiston by trading in Angry Anderson who'll get looped with Blamires. The extra cash gives an upgrade of Budarick > Petracca with 1 trade.

With Robertson back and Marshall as well, with Murdock looking like next week then cash gen looks very solid, only ZZ at R3 next week as a dead rookie.

Parish becomes Steele this week, English to a defence premo next week.

Do we hold Richards? I mean obviously if he is playing, but do we prepare our trades where we can remove him if hes a late out again?
