Waiting for Geelong to be rubbish is an exercise in futility…. Surely it has to happen one day ? 😩
There's too many other rubbish teams for them to compete with, and there will be more with a 19th and 20th team.

References to partners is the only actual story here. It’s unprofessional and will also be perceived as a lack of respect for women/women used as fodder for sledging and banter. They can argue that it was behind closed doors but it’s like anything - you put it out there on a whiteboard in plain sight, it’s your responsibility.
It’s an in joke from when Prior played for them. Of course there will be people like you who clutch their pearls about it but it’s a complete non-issue

Cottrell just did it to Marshall and there was no reversal.
The exact same action and 2 different interpretations and penalties. That pretty well sums up the umpires and AFL to a tee.
Those muppets at AFL Headquarters are so quick to jump on everything that is wrong with the game and won’t look in their own backyard. For what it’s worth, a reversal for a taunting, i.e. a head rub, is the most pathetic example of how the muppets have stuffed this league.

A mate of mine involved in the AFL was near the benches for Geelong and North Melbourne yesterday.

After Bailey Smith was sling tackled, he came off the ground complaining that 'nobody came to support him' and it required Tom Stewart to console him.

Free kicks in the goal square after a goal has been kicked are a disgrace.

The free needs to be brought back to the middle.
Call me crazy but I think pushing a bloke into the fence after he’s kicked a goal is a disgrace.

Maximum available penalty should apply (ie. free kick taken at the most advantageous spot for the infringed player / team).

Should be a free kick and 50 from the point of the ball. So if a goal is kicked, it is from the middle. It should be treated the same as taking a player out of the contest (which is also 50

Fair enough I reckon. He was ragdolled and nobody cared.

What’s more amazing is that it was the Lions of all clubs. “Anyone know details about our opponents’ personal lives that might get under their skin? Let’s get it all up on the whiteboard …Lachie, any suggestions?”
Or Dane? You might have somethings to say?

And then it's the "talk to the hand!" when a player asks for an explanation.
