With 0:51 on the clock zurhaar decided he was the man for the moment. He isnt, he needed to push to his left, draw blakey and hand the ball over the top to Zane Duursma to run into 30 and slot the goal.

Zurhaars first goal he was hanging outside like a sheepdog yelling “me me me me me me” .. there was two players hanging outside at that moment. Poor defensive accountability, he wanted the scoreboard, he kicker the goal but if he had missed it, would have been another selfish moment.

He played on Papley who really could have kicked a bag but lucky for Zurhaar he shit the bed and missed some easy ones.

The experiment should be over.

I think if Logue'd taken off, the handball'd miss. Might be Zurhaar hits the handball still to advantage though. Hypotheticals. And he missed. What a ****ing surprise. He misses all the time, he is a shit kick at goal, he should not take ownership when the game is on the line. Team player, his selfishness cost us a chance to win the game that would have been back at the middle with 40 seconds on the clock.

He is the perfect trade bait to land us a KPD. I would 100% be looking at offloading him, we have a surplus of half forwards, we can afford to move him on. We wont miss him, I guarantee it.

In an ideal world he replaces one of the talls in the 3 KPD defensive structure setup.

Then we can play Dawson in defence part time while chipping in the ruck.

Keeps our structure forward of the ball so much better.

I think Zurhaar is going to make it as a defender.
He’s still a bit off being the finished product as a defender and it’s cost us goals against Geelong and Sydney.

I can’t see him getting a role forward again, so it’s backline or bust for him.

i'm still a big fan of him forward and think eventually he moves back there once we get some better defenders
