This is the sort of clearance profile I bang on about constantly. Our raw clearance numbers are nothing special but the rate at which we score from them relative to opposition is elite.
Goals, goal assists and score involvements are coming into his game - including some great gut running bursts on the counter attack. He's backing himself in to hunt the ball more too and could easily end up a 20+ disposal per game sort of player who also makes life difficult for opposition midfielders.

Already has 18 as a small forward, 40+ on the cards for the year.Said it last week. Will say it again. Mannaghs a chance for all australian this year.
Mannagh had his 2 game blip against Hawthorn/WCE and then was poor when we all had a shocker against Port. If you look at his other 6 games collectively they've been excellent. The Dogs game he didn't hit the scoreboard but was heavily involved as a pseudo-midfielder. Then 5 (after this week) he's featured in coaches votes as a forward flanker.2 quiet games is a dip by my metrics for any player - measured against their own standards
Honestly it doesn't. It means I'm sick of posters who use wins/losses as a chance to interrupt the autopsy thread with swipes at other posters rather than sharing the journey of following the team.Disagreeing means you do think mannagh should be dropped and we should of not tried tonight. Bad claims at the time. Utterly bizarre in hindsight.
Humphries another who’s well and truly back in form.

Happy birthday! My 60th dinner with a bunch of Lions fans watching the game afterwards. Got to love this club!

Its not really how most people use the term.
It's really no different to saying "maybe we shouldn't write off our players in such a reactionary way and flood them with over the top abuse for anything less than sustained perfection". People do the same in autopsy threads on the other side of the coin to rubbish players. That doesn't make it wrong or right, but it is simply the nature of how praising or criticising players tends to go on BigFooty. Surely people aren't so sensitive as to get triggered by that. It's how football forums have operated since they were created.Honestly it doesn't. It means I'm sick of posters who use wins/losses as a chance to interrupt the autopsy thread with swipes at other posters rather than sharing the journey of following the team.
It's almost as if some of us watch the game more with an eye towards what snipe they can make in the gameday thread than whether we win or not.
