So good to be triggered in a good way when reminded of a GF.Was in the car earlier on today and Kiss’s I Was Made for Loving You came on the radio and it instantly took me back and put a smile on my face. What a magnificent day it was!
That song will forever be associated with that day and our grand final win for me now (much in the same way Lionel Ritchie and All Night Long is from 2010).
A bit left of field by David Bowies' Heroes was blaring around the ground after the presentation awaiting for the players to come around the ground. Left to soak in the occasion while it played sends me immediately back to the feeling whenever I hear it on the radioWas in the car earlier on today and Kiss’s I Was Made for Loving You came on the radio and it instantly took me back and put a smile on my face. Just looking through hundreds of photos of people with the cup on the Brisbane and Gold Coast leg of the tour. All smiling.
I'm there, the guy in front of me was a born and bred Queenslander and QAFL player and the guy behind was at the 1970 grand final.
Cup Tour is brilliant.
Is this publicly available, e.g. a link to the photos being taken on the cup tour? Must be thousands by now.
